Pastor to address Neighborhood Watch
ST. IGNATIUS — Pastor Bob Larssen will talk about the Pinehaven Christian Children’s Ranch at a meeting of the St. Ignatius Neighborhood Watch on Tuesday, Nov. 17. He will explain what the ranch is, how it operates and the goals its staff and students hope to attain. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center. Everyone is welcome to attend and participate at all of the St. Ignatius chapter’s meetings.

LCPH, The Nest partner on Community Connection
ST. IGNATIUS — On Friday, Nov. 20, the Lake County Public Health Department is partnering with The Nest for the Friday, Nov. 20, the Parents as Teachers program’s Community Connection. The focus will be on “Turkey Fun” with an art activity and snacks. This community event will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. at The Nest, 410 St. Mary’s Drive in St. Ignatius.
Pregnant moms and families with children under the age of 5 are welcome to attend this free program. This is a good chance to meet other families with young children in the area, and to learn more about the free Parents as Teachers Home Visiting program. Bazaar includes Preschool’s auction
ST. IGNATIUS – A silent auction will be held for Zion Lutheran Preschool/Child Care in St. Ignatius. Thrivent Financial provided seed money for some very nice items for a silent auction to be held at the Methodist Christmas Bazaar at the church on Post Creek Hill on Nov. 21 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. As long as they last, there will be free, one-per-family children’s T- shirts for bidders. Your support is appreciated.
Methodist Church to host annual Holiday Bazaar
ST. IGNATIUS — Mission Valley United Methodist Church on Post Creek Hill will host their annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. You may reserve a table by calling Tena Savage at 406-745-4123. Cost for a space is determined by the size of the table used. A lunch will be available to purchase.

All invited to free Thanksgiving dinner
ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Community’s free Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be held on Thanksgiving Day from 3:30-5:30 p.m. It will be served at the St. Ignatius Schools Middle School Commons. Anyone who would like to enjoy a home-cooked Thanksgiving Day dinner is invited. The event is sponsored by various members of the community for their community. The menu will be turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, corn, rolls, cranberry sauce and dessert. If you have any questions, please contact Kimimi Ashley at 406-273-8203.
