Learn infant massage for free
ST. IGNATIUS — The Parents as Teachers program of the Lake County Public Health Department is sponsoring an Infant Massage class at The Nest on Friday, May 5, from 1-3 p.m. Mary Gertson, LMT, will demonstrate techniques and show parents how to massage their own babies if they would like to. There is limited space so you must call 406- 883-7209 to reserve a spot. The Nest is located at 410 St. Mary’s Drive in St. Ignatius.

Fort Connah depicts fur trade era
ST. IGNATIUS — The Fort Connah Restoration Society will host their annual Spring Open House Rendezvous which depicts life during the fur trading era of Montana, on Saturday, May 6, to Wednesday, May 10; a 5-day event. This is a great opportunity to see the 1846 historic Hudson’s Bay Fort Connah Trading Post come to life. This event is free to the public and includes demonstrations of time-era activities, Moose Creek chuck wagon-style barbecue, a baked goods sale, beer and wine, crafts and kids games. There will be historical talks after the opening ceremony at noon on Saturday. Main events will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Fort Connah is located 6 miles north of St. Ignatius at mile marker 39 on Highway 93. Learn about Latino America, Latino Montana
ST. IGNATIUS — The Flathead Reservation Human Rights Coalition’s annual potluck series – Nourish Your Body, Nourish Your Mind will come together on Wednesday, May 10, at 6 p.m. at Mission Valley United Methodist Church, 70715 Highway 93, at the top of Post Creek Hill. Bridget Kevane will present Latino America, Latino Montana. She will lead us through our state’s Latino history, which began even before 1889 and about the more recently arrived community of Latinos in the state.
Weight loss support group wants new members
ST. IGNATIUS — TOPS (taking off pounds sensibly) meets every Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the United Methodist Church on the top of Post Creek Hill. The group is looking for new members. For more information, call 406-745- 4653.

ARLEE/ST. IGNATIUS — The Mission Valley Honor Guard will have Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 29, at 10 a.m. at the Arlee Jocko Cemetery, 11 a.m. at St. Ignatius Pleasant View Cemetery and at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery.
