Youth group raises funds for mission
ST. IGNATIUS — Collide in Romania, a youth group from Cornerstone Faith Center in St. Ignatius, will take 13 people to Romania in June to perform mission work. The group is having a yard sale on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, to raise funds for the trip. The sale is at the Cornerstone Faith Center from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday. The group is also selling raffle tickets. First prize will win half a beef and half a pig. Second prize is a locally-made homemade quilt. Third prize is a china service for eight that originates from Romania. The tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Bring home great deals from Trash and Treasure
ST. IGNATIUS – Mission Trash N Treasure Sale will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, at the St. Ignatius Fitness Center. There will be over 20 booths and proceeds will benefit the St. Ignatius Senior Center. We all love a good deal and you will find plenty here. Bring cash and bags to bring home all the goodies that you will find. You may even need a truck to carry it all home in. There will be quite the assortment of booths and you can check out the trash n treasure page to see a list of what folks will be selling. Conservation chosen as DAR topic
ST. IGNATIUS — The Kuilix chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Tuesday, April 14, at noon for lunch at the United Methodist Church, Highway 93 top of the hill, north of St. Ignatius. Our speaker for the 1 p.m. program is Nancy Mehaffie and the topic is conservation: “Healthy Forest vs. Wildfires.” Please RSVP to regent Bonnie Huber, at (406) 745-3118.

DOVES speaker to address ‘watch’ group
ST. IGNATIUS – A representative of the domestic violence organization DOVES will address the monthly meeting of the St. Ignatius Neighborhood Watch on Tuesday, April 21, in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center. The group meets in the senior center every third Thursday at 7 p.m. All are welcome. A brief business meeting will follow the DOVES address.
