Library closes for King holiday
POLSON — The North Lake County Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

PSA holds membership meeting, dinner
POLSON — The Polson Shooters Association will hold their annual membership meeting and dinner on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at the Polson VFW.
Social time with a nohost bar begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
The menu includes spaghetti with green salad and garlic bread and red or white wine. Dinner is $5 per person or free with new membership or renewal of membership at the door.
Anyone interested in shooting sports and who is eligible to own a firearm, is invited join our group for a fun evening and to learn more about PSA.

‘Cowboy Country and The Gold Dust Girls’ return to Elks
POLSON — The Cowboy Country and the Gold Dust Girls will again perform at the Elks ballroom in Polson on Friday, Jan. 25, from 6-9 p.m. This is the same seven-piece band that was very well received when they played here last summer. The cover charge will be $5 per person.
Library begins monthly movie night
POLSON — Enjoy “Friday Night at the Library” on the fourth Friday of each month. North Lake County Library will show movies rated PG or PG-13 ( posted on our website) and make fresh popcorn. This program debuts Friday, Jan. 25. Be in the library before 6 p.m. to be included. Feel free to bring your own nonalcoholic beverage and snacks.

POLSON — The Friends of the Library will hold a book sale at the North Lake County Library on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Come and find some treasures.
Eat prime rib at great price
ARLEE — The Arlee Senior Center will a prime rib dinner on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 6 p.m. for $7. Everyone is welcome.
Kids’ Winter Wonder Workshop held
BIGFORK — Montana State Parks and Flathead Lake State Park invite you to embrace the cold at the Flathead Lake State Park – Wayfarers Unit, 8600 Highway 35, Bigfork, (meet at the picnic shelter in the Harry Horn Day Use Area) on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 1-2:30 p.m. During this 1.5-hour Winter Wonder Workshop ranger-led program participants will explore winter ecology through a variety of hands-on activities and learn how to safely enjoy winter weather. All are welcome, but this program is intended for elementary-aged children. Participants should come prepared to be outside in cold weather for the duration of the program. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Cost is $4 per participant or $10 per family. Advanced registration is encouraged. Lamb of God practices begin
IGNATIUS/MISSOULA — Lamb of God will hold their first choir and orchestra practice on Jan. 26. Choir practice will take place at the St. Ignatius Mission from 10 a.m.-noon. Orchestra practice will be from 4-6 p.m. at 3026 S Ave in Missoula. There will be six performances in April. All are welcome. Song books will be provided. ARLEE — The American Legion George Ducharme Post 113 in Arlee will sponsor an evening of Bingo on Jan. 27, from 3-7 p.m. at the senior housing next to the Community Building in Arlee.
