Mobile Vet Center coming to Ronan
RONAN — The Missoula Mobile Vet Center will be at the VFW Post in Ronan from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26. The outreach visit will provide any veteran, service member, service provider or veteran family member with information on Vet Center and other VA programs and benefits. Staff will be available to answer questions and assist with enrollment in readjustment counseling services, VA health care and other VA and Veteran specific programs.
Museum showcases traveling exhibit

Hear about choosing nominee to replace Zinke
POLSON — Jayson Peters, Republican State Executive Board member and Flathead County GOP Chairman, is the featured speaker at the Friday, Jan. 27, meeting of the Lake Country Pachyderm Club. He will discuss how the state GOP will choose a nominee to run for the vacancy created when Congressman Ryan Zinke becomes Secretary of the Interior. At least a half-dozen candidates have indicated they will file for the position. Members of the Pachyderm Club as well as the public are invited to the meeting, which begins at noon and adjourns at 1 p.m. at the Polson Rural Fire Department building, 25 Regatta Road.
