HOT SPRINGS — A book signing will take place Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 4-6 p.m. at the LaRue Hot Springs Museum, honoring local rodeo queen Fay Poloson Haynes, who has published “Top Hand,” a collection of her paintings before she was 16 years old. Haynes’ niece, author Grace Larson, will also be at the signing. Larson has written several historical books about her family and sheep raising during the early to mid-1900s in the Western Montana area.

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library in Polson will offer Part II of a free basic computer class on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Sessions will be at 2 p.m. and again at 5:30 p.m. The class will cover operating systems and the Internet. Registration is required since space is limited.
