Scrimmages to raise funds for BB teams
RONAN — The Ronan boys’ and girls’ basketball program presents its seventh annual orange and black scrimmages in conjunction with a fundraising dinner and silent auction. Arlee illuminates another parade
ARLEE — The eighth annual Arlee Parade of Lights will be on Dec. 5, 2015. The theme is “Let your light shine for peace around the world.” The parade starts at 6 p.m. with line up at the high school at 5:30 p.m. The same route as last year will be used and will be illuminated. The parade will end at the Arlee Brown Building for singing around a fire, hot chocolate, coffee, and treats provided by Backstube Edelweiss, Wilson Store, and Brown Building committee. Children’s Christmas Carnival begins at 2 p.m.
ST. IGNATIUS — On Saturday, Dec. 5, the St. Ignatius Chamber of Commerce will sponsor their annual Children’s Christmas Carnival at the Community Center starting at 2 p.m. There will be games and prizes for everyone. Attend ecumenical remembrance ceremony
POLSON – Partners In Home Care/Hospice, The Lake Funeral Home and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center would like to invite the public to remember and honor the loved ones in your life who have died.
An ecumenical ceremony of remembrance will be held on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at The Lake Funeral Home and Crematory at 101 Sixth Ave. E.
Each attendee will be presented with a lighted candle and paper dove to symbolize the tribute to their loved ones.
The dove will be placed on a Tree of Life, which will remain illuminated until the New Year begins. The tree will be located at St. Joseph Medical Centers’ Lobby. This memorial ceremony is open to the public and a reception will follow.

Scientist to address Audubon meeting

Concert to benefit Mission frescoes

IGNATIUS — The Treasure State Chorale, under the direction of its founder, Phil Harris, will bring its “Sounds of the Season” concert to the Saint Ignatius Mission Church on Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. The frescoes in this historic church need immediate restoration, and the Chorale would like to help with the massive project.
