Caregivers sessions given through Feb. 18
POLSON — "Powerful Tools for Caregivers" is a six-session, 90-minutes weekly series of classes designed to help caregivers with the many physical, social, and emotional challenges they face. It is well-known that very often caregivers become ill or even die before the person they are caring for, simply because they ignore their own needs. Two facilitators who have been caregivers themselves lead these sessions. Classes are planned in Polson on Thursdays, Jan. 14-Feb. 18, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Providence St. Joseph Hospital. The regular fee is $50, however we can charge on a sliding scale based on income. There is also funding available to reimburse those who want to pay for respite care for their loved one so they can attend the classes. Please call Jane at 406-883-7284 or 1-800-266-4188, for more information or to register.
