Learn to knit through March 31
POLSON — More needle arts begin in March at the North Lake County Public Library. “Knitting Basics” returns with four sessions on March 10, 17, 24 and 31 from 2-3 p.m. in the library meeting room. Beginning knitters, this class is for you. Master knitters Linda Kittle and Julie Hille can answer any questions you have. They also have the flexibility to help you finish the heel of that sock. Bring your projects and any knitting supplies you have on hand (yarn and needles). We will provide instruction, inspiration and can fill in with donated supplies from area knitters. See you there.

A free workshop for Excel II users is being offering at the Lake County CDC, 407 Main Street SW, on March 25 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Excel This workshop is for students who have a basic knowledge of Excel. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to work with lists, freeze panes and split panes; use the sort and auto filter functions, use the insert function command to create IF functions, create and work with charts, and more. Enjoy luncheon at Ronan Boys, Girls Club
RONAN — The Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County will present the first annual “Back-A-Kid” luncheon on March 31 from noon-12:45 p.m. at the Ronan Boys and Girls Clubhouse in Ronan. Come hear the “Youth of the Year” speak and watch a teen member produced video. Optional tours will follow.

Arts, crafts, auction, more on tap
RONAN — The GFWC is holding an Arts and Crafts event on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center. There will be 40-plus local vendors, a 50/50 raffle, a huge silent auction and food, including coffee and donuts; Indian fry bread, tacos, chili; egg salad sandwiches and desserts.
