View variety of art mediums at ‘Mixing It Up’ art show
POLSON — The Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery, 306 Main Street, welcome you to “Mixing It Up,” Feb. 27-April 6. This is a non-juried art show, open to all artists. Artistic interpretation of the them in any medium will be accepted. There is a small entry fee for non-Sandpiper member artists. Visit the website for more information. PPP presents ‘The Miracle Worker’
POLSON — “The Miracle Worker,” a play celebrating Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan. will be shown for two weekends, March 16, 17 and 18 and March 23, 24, 25. Commissioner Barron to address Pachyderms about jail, courthouse
POLSON — County Commissioner Bill Barron will speak at the Pachyderm meeting March 23 about the possibility of a private party building the jail on private property to meet federal, state, county, and ACLU specifications. Join Relay For Life at SKC
PABLO — SKC’s Joe McDonald Activity Center is the site of the 2018 Carnival for a Cure Relay For Life of Lake County. This event is on March 23 beginning at 5 p.m. with a dinner for survivors. A survivor lap and team parade event happens at 6 p.m. and a luminary ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. There will be a kids’ carnival from 7:30-10 p.m. and a cake auction at 8:30 p.m. Join people in Lake County and fight back against cancer. One hundred locals to perform in Mission
ST. IGNATIUS — Rob Gardner’s Lamb of God inspiring oratorio will be performed by over 100 local community members on Friday and Saturday, March 23-24, at 7:30 p.m., at St. Ignatius Historic Catholic Church. Admission is free but donations made towards mural restoration project of St. Ignatius Historic Catholic Church are welcome.
