Legionnaires to meet at Charlo High School
CHARLO — Mr. Robert Shaw, Commander of American Legion Post #126 in Charlo, said about 60 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the spring meeting of District No. 4 on Sunday, April 19. There are about 1100 Legionnaires in District No. 4 with posts located in Thompson Falls, Columbia Falls, Eureka, Bigfork, Libby, St. Ignatius, Whitefish, Polson, Arlee, Charlo, Paradise, Kalispell, and Ronan. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Charlo High School. The department program will begin at 10 a.m. A joint banquet will begin at noon at Charlo High School with Department Commander Jeff Nelson of Polson as the guest speaker. The Legion business meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the high school. District Commander Glen Sharbono of Ronan will conduct the Legion meeting. The district president, Melodi Casey of Eureka, will conduct the Auxiliary meeting.

FSA services available by phone appointment only
BOZEMAN — Montana FSA has made changes to farm loan, disaster, conservation and safety net programs to make it easier for customers to conduct business. USDA’s Farm Service Agency county offices are open in Montana by phone appointment only until further notice, and FSA staff are available to continue helping agricultural producers with program signups, loan servicing and other important actions. Additionally, FSA is relaxing the loan-making process and adding flexibilities for servicing direct and guaranteed loans to provide credit to producers in need.
