Church rummage sale to benefit Relay for Life

Pioneer Museum opens in Polson through Sept. 15

POLSON — The Polson Flathead Historical Museum, “The Pioneer Museum on Main Street” invites you to view amazing exhibits of daily life in the Mission Valley and Flathead Lake area in the late 1800s and early 1900s, such as the stagecoach, chuck wagon, fire trucks, Calamity Jane’s saddle and Flathead Lake’s ‘Nessie” (some say it was, some say it wasn’t, caught here) and much more. We open for the season on Memorial Day each year, and goes until Friday, Sept. 15. The museum is located at 708 Main Street and operates Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Closed on Sundays) There is a visitor fee of $10 and children under 10 years old are admitted free with a paying adult. Sandpiper opens new exhibit through June 25

POLSON — Sandpiper Art Gallery, 306 Main Street, Polson, presents “Montana West of the Mountains.” This exhibit will be the best images of everything we love about Montana and features member artists Antonia Wolf (photography), Sue Arneson (watercolor), Marie Stockhill (pottery), and guest artists Mike and Belinda Williams (photography) and jeweler Donna Miller. The exhibit continues until June 25. The Gallery is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Sign-up for Polson Youth Basketball, Volleyball Summer Camps

Sign-up for Polson Youth Basketball, Volleyball Summer Camps POLSON — Polson Youth Basketball and Volleyball Summer Camps, sponsored by the head girls’ basketball and volleyball coaching staffs and current high school players, will be held for grades 2-8, Monday-Wednesday, June 12-14, at Linderman Elementary School. The cost is $60 dollars for both camps or $30 dollars for each sport. Celebrate Recovery ministers to anyone

POLSON — Celebrate Recovery Ministry takes place at Polson Foursquare on Sundays between 5-8 p.m.

All are welcome to join us each Sunday evening. CR is a Christ-centered 12-step recovery ministry for anyone with hurts, habits or hang-ups. The evening starts off with dinner followed by a teaching and discussion groups with coffee/dessert. Childcare is available. POLSON -- Soul-food Saturday is a community gathering at the Co-op HUB to share prayers, readings and discussion on the topic of unity, followed by a light meal. Kids of all ages are welcome; supervision is provided.

New hours announced for MO

POLSON — Miracle of America’s hours are now 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday and 1:30-6 p.m. on Sundays. Some holidays may be shorter hours as well, so it is best to call 406-883-6804 first. Our free “Night at the Museum” is on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Donations or treats are always welcome. Schoolteachers are encouraged to give extra credit for a report from attending students.

 
Montecahto Club invites new members
 
POLSON — The Montecahto Club meets the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. We are a social and service organization and sponsor a scholarship for a graduating senior, cook and serve lunch at “Soup’s On,” collect for the Food Bank, send Care packages to the overseas troops and help out wherever we can. We welcome new members. Come to a meeting and get to know us.
