Sandpiper to sponsor non-juried art show through May 27
POLSON — Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery will sponsor a non-juried show open to all artists April 16-May 27. Artistic interpretation of the theme, in any medium, will be accepted. Dinner, childcare provided at IEC meeting
POLSON — We will hold the monthly JO’M Polson Indian Education Committee meeting on Monday, May 16, at Cherry Valley School in Polson. Sandpiper announces Stromnes presentation
POLSON — Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery announces a presentation by multi-media member artist Jean Stromnes, who will demonstrate a photo-transfer technique using Omni-Gel™ transfer medium. Her instructional demo is free and open to the public.
The regularly scheduled monthly membership meeting commences with her presentation at noon, Monday, May 16, at the Gallery located at 306 Main Street. Any additional membership business shall be addressed after the demonstration.

RONAN — As part of the City of Ronan’s ongoing commitment to openness, responsiveness to the community and efforts to enhance citywide communication, the Ronan Police Department hosts a program called “Coffee with the Chief.” Join Chief Weaver for “Coffee with the Chief” on Tuesday, May 17, at Dobson Creek Coffee Company’s new location at 62599 U.S. Highway 93 from 9-10 a.m. “Coffee with the Chief” is a recurring event that will take place at various locations in the City of Ronan.

Golf for Griz Tourney coming to Ronan
RONAN — University of Montana Grizzlies coaches and staff will again play with area golfers during the annual Tana Bockman Memorial Golf for the Griz Tournament in Ronan Friday, May 20.
A whole-pig barbecue with the trimmings will follow the co-ed scramble. The $80 fee for participants,($70 for MMGC card holders), includes golf, barbecue and prizes. The barbecue-only charge is $25.
