Join ‘Moving for Better Balance’
POLSON — Moving for Better Balance, an evidence-based, adapted Tai Chi class, will be offered by the Area VI Agency on Aging on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. for 12 weeks, May 1-July 19. Classes will be held at the Polson Senior Center. The fee is $35 for senior center members, $50 for non-members (they get a membership included), but everything is on a slidingscale. Essiac Study Group meets
POLSON – The Essiac Study Group will meet at the large meeting room of the North Lake County Public Library from 6:30 - 8 p.m. on May 16, 30 and June 13. May 16 features a discussion on the nine key factors to staying alive and healthy - a look at Kelly Turner’s book Radical Remission. Also information on growing herbs and free seeds. Join the community dance
POLSON – Calling all of you who love classic country music to come and join us at our next dance from 7-10 p.m., on Wednesday, May 16, at the Elks on Main Street. The band also plays music from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. If you like hamburgers, the Elks put out a pretty good one before the dance. Cost of the dance is $5 per person. Come and enjoy yourselves.

Paint rocks for Polson Painted Rock Project
POLSON —The Polson Painted Rock project is off to a fantastic start. There have been approximately 80 rocks distributed, with one making it all the way to Safeco Field. We will be hosting another Open Rock Painting Party at the Chamber Office on May 16, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Keep your eye out for our rocks, and let us know where you find them.
