Join ‘Moving for Better Balance’
POLSON — Moving for Better Balance, an evidence-based, adapted Tai Chi class, will be offered by the Area VI Agency on Aging on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. for 12 weeks, May 1-July 19. Classes will be held at the Polson Senior Center. The fee is $35 for senior center members, $50 for non-members (they get a membership included), but everything is on a slidingscale. Attend free night at the museum
POLSON – A free “Night at the Museum,” held the fourth Thursday of every month, is set for May 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Miracle of America Museum, 36094 Memory Lane, Polson. Lots of local history unfolds as we do a walking tour of a portion of the outside museum village. Learn more about early residents Jack and Elisabeth Welch’s sewing and saddle shops, Lewis’s and Uhde’s rival gas stations, Rolfson’s Queen Court, Gordon Fisher Optometry, the Trusler barn and more. Elders’ Week activities reach final day
PABLO — Two Eagle River School will host the final day for “Standing Tall and Proud with our Elders” activities from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 24. Activities include: a 1 p.m. Stickgame, luncheon/dinner at 3 p.m., a silent auction from 3-6 p.m. and a social pow wow beginning at 4 p.m. Stick game must have one TERS student. Women 4 Wellness event held at SKC
PABLO — Women 4 Wellness strives to increase health awareness and healthy behaviors among women of the Flathead Indian Reservation and Lake County, by bringing together service providers and other organizations at a single location.
