Class offers help for caregivers through June 7

Providence St. Joseph Medical Center is hosting the Area VI Agency on Aging’s six-week series of classes designed to help caregivers with the many physical and emotional challenges they face. Men’s Friday afternoon cancer club through May 24
POLSON — If you are a man with any cancer diagnosis this group is for you. Join others for six meetings to discuss the issues men with cancer are facing Friday afternoons from 5:15-6:30 p.m. at the Bickford Building (upstairs). This group is free of charge. Move for better balance through June
POLSON — The spring session of “Moving for Better Balance,” an adapted Tai Chi program, will begin on Tuesday, April 9. It will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-11 a.m. at the Polson Senior Center. The class will run until the end of June. Call Jane at the Agency on Aging to sign up 406-883-7284.
Annual ‘One Day Sale’ jewelry sale slated
ST. IGNATIUS — Just in time for Mother’s Day DeVeer Designs’ fused glass jewelry will have their “One Day Only Sale” on May 3 at Rod’s Harvest Foods in St. Ignatius. The sale runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the local food pantry. Join mussel walk, shoreline cleanup
POLSON — Join the CSKT Mussel Walk with local middle school students and community members and help us protect our water from aquatic invasive species on May 3 at Salish Point from 9-11 a.m. Rotate between four interactive information stations: mussel identification, a mussel-dog demonstration, aquatic invasive species life cycle questions and answers, and a mussel walk/shoreline cleanup. This is a joint effort of CSKT, UM Flathead Lake Bio Station, and the Flathead Lakers.
Psychic Dynasty performs
POLSON — On May 3, at 7 p.m. in the Polson High School auditorium, the real-life father-daughter team who have been performing their original brand of mind-reading since 2012, will work together to create stage pieces that are unexpected, inventive and, of course, funny. A single ticket at the door is $15 and advance purchase tickets are $13. Youth 18 and under are free and tickets for college students with identification are $5.
