Sandpiper to sponsor non-juried art show through May 27

Bird Festival returns to the Valley
PABLO — The CSKT Natural Resource Department and Salish Kootenai College’s fourth annual Community Bird Festival is on May 5 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at Salish Kootenai College’s Joe McDonald Health/Athletic Center and the Johnny Arlee Victor Charlo Theater. This event celebrates migrating and residential birds and brings the community together. Chief to address Kiwanis Club

Annual powwow held
PABLO — Salish Kootenai College will host their annual spring pow wow and graduation honoring on May 13 and 14, with Grand Entries starting at 6 p.m. Friday night and continuing Saturday at noon and at 6 p.m. in the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center in Pablo. Contest dancing is slated to begin Friday and includes junior, teen and adult categories, as well as golden age.
