Join ‘Moving for Better Balance’
POLSON — Moving for Better Balance, an evidence-based, adapted Tai Chi class, will be offered by the Area VI Agency on Aging on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. for 12 weeks, May 1-July 19. Summer theatre opens with ‘After the Ball’ through July 22
POLSON —The Port Polson Players’ 2018 summer season, (their 43rd summer season), opens with the musical “After the Ball.” The show features music from the Gay ‘90s through the Roaring ‘20s, along with the title song, parlor tunes, ragtime, cowboy ballads, and Tin Pan Alley favorites. Commissioner to speak on county budgetary process
POLSON — Lake County Commissioner Dave Stipe, will speak to the public at the meeting of Lake County Pachyderm Club on Friday, July 13, from noon-1 p.m. He will address questions the public may have on the county budgetary process. P.E.O. rummage sale proceeds benefit scholarships
RONAN — The Lower Mission Valley Chapter of P.E.O. will hold their annual rummage sale on July 13, on the west side of Ronan Glacier Bank, across from the city park. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Clothing, household goods, accessories, books, games and miscellaneous items will be available for sale. All proceeds from the sale will be used for P.E.O. sponsored scholarships for women.

Get muddy at Boys & Girls fundraiser
POLSON — The fourth annual Polson Mud Run will be held on Saturday, July 14, at the Polson Fairgrounds. This is a fundraising event for the Flathead Boys & Girls Club. The 5K obstacle course includes many different types of terrain and obstacles to overcome, including mud. POLSON — The third Tuesday of each summer month the North Lake County Public Library holds a fun, interactive program for teens and pre-teens called “Adulting 101.” This program is intended to help prepare the future of our nation to go out into the world (mostly) ready to survive as a new adult. This is a charity event with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Enduring Waves Foundation. Buffalo Run to be held in St. Ignatius
ST. IGNATIUS — St. Luke Community Healthcare’s 36th annual Buffalo Run will be held July 21 and consists of a 1-mile, 4-mile, 7-mile and half marathon runs. The half marathon starts promptly at 7 a.m. with the other races starting at 8 a.m. The annual run begins in front of Gamble’s Hardware and the course is in and around the town of St. Ignatius and is mostly flat. Class of ‘63 joins Good Old Days Parade
ST. IGNATIUS — During Good Old Days the Mission class of 1963 will have a float in the parade at noon on July 21. Library serves up vanilla ice cream, reading
POLSON — Join the Parents as Teacher Home Visitors as we partner with Youth Services Librarian Kendra during the North Lake County Public Library’s Mother Goose Story Hour at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 23. The theme will be ice cream, in observance of “Vanilla Ice Cream Day.” We’ll have activities, a craft project, and Kendra will read us fun books on the topic. We will also have some coupons for free child’s cones, compliments of The Cove. Pregnant moms and families with children under the age of 5 are welcome to attend the Parents as Teachers Community Connections. This is a good chance to meet other families with young children, and to learn more about the Parents as Teachers Home Visiting program.
