Sandpiper begins new exhibit
POLSON — The Sandpiper Art and Gift Gallery, 306 Main Street, begins their new exhibit, “Where Were You Hiding?” This exhibit runs from Sept. 3-Oct. 12. This is a non-juried show, open to all artists. Artistic interpretation of the theme, in any medium, will be accepted. There is a small entry fee for non-Sandpiper member artists. Free Zen Meditation class offered
POLSON — A free Zen Meditation class offered at the Yoga- Heart Studio, 314 Main Street, on Wednesdays in September will take place on Sept. 5, 12 and 19 at 6 p.m. The classes will be presented by Zen Priest Zenku, Jerry Smyers. Child screening held in Ronan
RONAN — Mark your calendars for our annual fall Child Find event on Friday, Sept. 14. This free screening will be held at the K.W. Harvey Elementary School in the Special Needs Preschool classroom from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Children ages birth to five years old, who live in the Ronan/Pablo School District, will be screened. Decker to speak to Republican committee
POLSON — The Lake County Republican Central committee is co-hosting a Get to Know Your Candidates series with the Lake County Pachyderms. On Friday, Sept. 14, from noon-1 p.m., Gale Decker will speak as a candidate for Lake County commissioner. Please come out to meet him and to ask any questions. The meeting takes place at the Polson Rural Fire Department.
Dinner supports St. Luke Foundation projects
RONAN — The 18th annual St. Luke Community Healthcare Foundation Dinner is on Friday, Sep. 14, at the Ronan Community Center. Join Missoula’s two-day Greek festival
