MISSION VALLEY — After long and thoughtful deliberations we have chosen to cancel our planned Sept. 18 banquet. Escalating current and projected COVID variant threats is the primary basis for this decision. A large percentage of our membership falls into the mature and “at risk” age category. Jeopardizing the health of any of our banquet volunteer staff or attendees is an unwarranted risk.

Mission Mountain Area Pedal to Plate to take place
St. Ignatius — The Mission Mountain Area Pedal to Plate (MMAPP) will take place on Saturday, Sept. 25. The ride with take cyclists on a 36-mile bike tour at the base of the Mission Mountains with stops at local farms along the way. The ride concludes with farm-to-table dinner and farmers market.
