Ronan kicks off cross-country season with canal run RONAN — If asked what the prettiest cross-country meet is of the season, many would agree the Canal Bank Run just out of Ronan ranks in the top. Backed by the beauty of the Mission Mountains and the gentle sound of water easing its way down the canal, runners are met with unspoiled landscape propelling them to enjoy their run to the fullest.
