Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Oct. 31-Nov. 6:

Howard E. Jones, 25, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license, expired less than 180 days. He was found guilty and fined $200 and $35 in court fees and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Trai Toney, 19, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty and fined $50 and $85 in court costs.

Malina Bourdon, 24, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. She was found guilty and fined $350, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

Edward Combs, 53, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 89 days suspended.

Michael Gardner, 22, pleaded not guilty to failing to obey red (stop) traffic signal. He forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs.

Damien Talamantes, 47, pleaded guilty to partner or family member assault, causing bodily injury to partner or family member. He was fined $100, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 140 days suspended.

The following individuals forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation: Dianna Bennett, 63; Ronald  Marquardt, 71. 

Sara Brueckmann, 19, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation. Brueckmann also forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Aimee  Smith, 29; Hope  Johnson, 26; Alicia Demers, 33.

Catie Jo Costga, 23, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

Michael Stephens, 38, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle whose gross laden weight exceeds GVW shown on owner certificate. 

Craig J. Brown, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for medical certificate expired.

The following forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister: Emery James Tegelberg, 51; Robert Fred Marquardt.

Kenneth D. Jennings, 26, pleaded guilty to failing to obtain landowner permission for hunting. was fined $100,,$35 in court costs  and  was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Dmitriy Popov, 44, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for 60/70-hour rule.

Brandon Michael forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for not in possession of 7 previous days logs.

Robert Yost, Jr., 47, was charged with criminal possession of danger drugs, opiate/meth F. The case was transferred to district court.

Brennan Andrews, 19, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for no motorcycle endorsement.
