Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases Dec. 12-18:

Brandon James Miller, 29, pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty and fined $50, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days deferred. 

Michael A. Stevens, 33, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was fined $200, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended.

Brook N. Stevens, 34, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. She was found guilty and fined $400, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

Taylor R. Newberry, 21, pleaded guilty to no CDL for type of vehicle being operated. He was fined $100 and $35 in court costs. Newberry also pleaded guilty to failure to pay GVW fees and fined $100 and $35 in court costs.

Thomas Wallace, 21, pleaded not guilty to throwing a match/cigarette/flame on roadway. He was found guilty and fined $215 and $35 in court costs.

Sirraya Leone Swank, 23, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with all suspended. Swank also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver's license. She was fined $250, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with all suspended.

Cory D. Bowman, 36, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for his log not current.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Darrell Kenneth, 64; Clay Byron Keller, 45; Shawn Michael Mears, 17; Earl Allen Fercho, 87.

Shawn Michael Mears, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of any drug, (narcotic, etc.), first offense. He was fined $600 and $85 in court costs and his driver's license was suspended for 3 months.

Henry Allen Symington, 44, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
