Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases for May 22-28:

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20 unless stated otherwise: Savannah Shoshana Smith, 31; Savannah Shoshana Smith, 31, fined $120; Tyler Martin Cross, 32; David Wade Frederickson, 26; Jacob Edward Harris, 19; Dustin C. Brown, 33; McKenzie Leigh Cates, 18; Paul Owen Rossignol, 60; Alexander C. Gano, 23. 

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Christopher Richard Clark, 42, fined $30; Jessica Rae Plum, 28, fined $170; Dianna Detienne Tande, 61, fined $55; Natalie Jo Nelson, 39, fined $20; Barbara Louise Cain, 74, fined $105; Matthew James Caron, 29, fined $55; Torrin Keegan Roe, 18, fined $20; Laurence A. Schroeder, 74, fined $55; Yael Weiss, 35, $105; Basu Dev Kafle, 28, fined $65; Sterling Powers Landry, 26, fined $85; 

Zachery Michael Pohl, 27, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-Interstate – exceeding day limit of 70 mph. Pohl also pleaded guilty to driving without a valid drivers license, expired less than 180 days. He was fined $100 and $35 in court costs.

Katelyn Michelle Murphy, 27, forfeited a $165 fine for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle – owner or operator- first offense.

Tyler Charles Clark, 28, forfeited a $65 bond for operating with an expired registration, failure to registration.

Shari Lynn Gooch, 50, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, second offense. She was fined $600, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended. Gooch also pleaded not guilty to resisting arrest. She was found guilty and fined $100, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended.

Chad Wold, 42, forfeited $50 fine and $35 in court costs for operating a motorboat or vessel for towing without an observer.

Justin K. Weishaar, 28, pleaded not guilty to vicious dog control, licensed or unlicensed. He was fined $150 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with 6 months suspended.

Mathina J. Kinyon, 24, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

Christopher Blake Cox, 27, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was fined $50 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended.

Mark R. Gibbons, Jr., 29, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

Toby James Kovarik, 25, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. Kovarik also forfeited a $20 fine for speeding on non-Interstate -exceeding the day limit of 70 mph.

Nicholas Edgar Maldonado, 20, pleaded guilty to unlawful transactions with children, first violation. He was fined $250, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with all suspended. Maldonado also pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 – first offense. He was fined $100 and $85 in court costs. Maldonado also pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. He was fined $50 and $85 in court costs.
