Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Aug. 7-13:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Kyle Wayne Moderie, fined $55; Austin Aubrey Lowes, 27, fined $55; Raymond Carlo, 58, fined $85; Gerald J. Smith, 58, fined $85; Ann Marie Uli, 51, fined $20; Maddison Estelle Garth, 28, fined $40;

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and were fined $20: Charles Wesley Stipe, 78; Raymond Paul Smith, 45; Gabriel Marcus Macdonald, 31; Dale Wayne Hermann, 57;

Leticia Siller Lopez, 50, was found guilty of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. She was fined $400, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended.

Robert C. Bashor, 38, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for insufficient personal flotation devices.

Gray Cook, 43, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $200, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended. 

Donald Ray Svennugsen, 64, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $100, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended. Svennugsen also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs. Svennugsen also pleaded guilty to seatbelt violation and was fined $20.

Brandon Eric Roberts, 38, forfeited a $200 fine and $35 in court costs for operating a commercial motor vehicle without a commercial drivers license, first offense.

The following individuals were found guilty of parking in prohibited spaces and were fined $85: Eugene S. Dziza, 56; Lisa J Discoe, 52; 

Tracy Marie Powell-Korodi, 46, pleaded guilty to theft, obtain or exerts unauthorized control over property, first offense. She was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. 

Gabriel Marcus Macdonald, 31, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

Jonathan Bernard Mathewson, 25, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs. Matthewson also pleaded guilty to speeding on non-interstate-exceeding day limit of 70 mph. He was fined $40.

Gary Lynwood Decker, 76, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

Cole Robert Gorton, 31, forfeited a $75 fine for unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway.

Eli James King, 32, pleaded guilty to careless driving and was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. King also pleaded guilty to operating in violation of restrictions on drivers license. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

Lakota Jay Matt, 22, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was fined $600, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
