POLSON – A life spent making mistakes is worth far more than a life spent doing nothing.
Make no mistake; our members have certainly enjoyed all the fruits and vegetables you have been bringing in from your gardens and orchards.
Senior bowling will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Cost remains $9.
The annual election of officers returned Dee Adams as president, Bob Gorsuch as VP and Kaye Stam as treasurer. Paul Laisy and Jane Bronson were re-elected as three-year directors. Donna Cason retired after many years serving the board. Thank you, Donna, for your service.
There will be no bingo on Sept. 4 and the 11.
Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:
— Thursday, Sept. 3: sloppy Joes, potato wedges
— Friday, 4: turkey potpie with biscuits
— Monday, Sept. 7: Labor Day: closed
— Tuesday, Sept. 8: baked chicken, rice and gravy
— Wednesday, Sept. 9: baked ham, sweet potatoes
— Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
