Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases 

Sept. 18-24:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Patrick Mcveigh, 42, fined $40; Austin Michael Root, 21, fined $55; Glen Bruce Whittenberg, 61, fined $85; Lisa Kerry Johnson, 54, fined $20; Erich Arbie Dale, 49, fined $20; Sean Maurice West, 20, fined $40; Terrence E. Collins, 57, fined $40; Mary Catherine Fisher, 51, fined $85; Cynthia Dean Miller-Corbett, 63, fined $40; Anthony Casimere Marko Jr., 33, fined $20; Tyler G. Moss, 40, fined $20; Taylor Blaine Startin, 32, fined $40.

Mary Ann Marshall, 57, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing in no passing zone.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Sean Thomas Reum, 25; Dean Raymond Anglea, 53; Christopher Dion Lance, 42.

Geary Lynn Lemon, 63, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Ann Marie Matt-Oliver, 40, pleaded not guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $100, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended.

Jason Wray Overmier, 44, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty. 

Raymond M. Yoder, 46, pleaded not guilty to cruelty to animals, failure to provide food and water, first offense. He was found guilty and told to pay restitution of $500 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended. Yoder pleaded not guilty to a second charge of cruelty to animals, failure to provide food and water, first offense. He was found guilty and was told to pay restitution of $500 and $85 in court costs.

Amanda Faye Stokes, 31, pleaded guilty to intoxicated pedestrian walking or standing on roadway or shoulder. She was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. 

Mindy Sue Corrigan, 41, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.
