Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Nov. 6-12:
Jacob Lee Hoffman, 26, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $250 suspended and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. Hoffman also pleaded not guilty of driving without a valid drivers license, has never been possessed. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $400 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.
Trevor Alan Moss, 28, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $400 suspended and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.
Diana Renate MacManus, 29, forfeited a $20 fine and $35 in cort costs for speeding. MacManus also forfeited a $50 fine for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. She also forfeited a $250 fine and $35 in court costs.
The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Randel James Wood, 43, fined $40; Daniel Avila Arias, 37, fined $40; Amanda Rae Gerdts, 44, fined $20; Amie Heather Newman, 40, fined $70.
Waylon Brodie Jacobs, 18, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense.
Jason Earl Gohl, 29, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation.
Dale Leroy Shaw, 57, forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation.
