Polson
POLSON – Laurel Bitterman went 4-for-4 with five RBIs and a double to lead the Lady Pirates to a dominant 23-5 win over Corvallis.
Haley Fyant twirled a five-hitter for the pitching decision and at the plate went 3-for-5 with five RBIs and two doubles.
Down 6-0, Corvallis battled back in the third to pull within one with a final score of 6-5. The Lady Pirates responded with a 12-run explosion in the bottom of the third and scored another five runs in the fourth to put the game away.
With the win, the Lady Pirates improve their record to 3-2 on the season.

MAC
MISSOULA – The MAC (Mission-Arlee-Charlo) softball team split a double-header with Loyola on April 10 at Rollin Field in Missoula.
MAC scored five runs on nine hits for the 5-2 victory in game one. Vanessa Kent was 2-for-5 with two RBIs.
Loyola, in game two, handed the MAC their first loss of the season by winning 18-1.
