Judge James A. Manley sentenced the following people on June 14:

Willie Pablo, 31, of St. Ignatius, had a previous sentence revoked and was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections with no time suspended. He was given credit for 55 days in jail and recommended for the Missoula Assessment and Sanction Center (MASC) and mental health or chemical dependency treatment. Pablo was originally convicted of robbery and sentenced to 12 years with DOC with eight years suspended in 2003. In that case, Pablo took a man’s keys and wallet and beat him with a stick and kicked him, according to a court document.

Jason David Weldele, 39, of Bigfork, had his sentence revoked and was sentenced to three years in DOC. He was originally sentenced Jan. 25 and given three years suspended for assault with a weapon after he waved a knife around and threatened to kill everyone at an emergency room on May 17. Weldele’s probation officer, Michael Hope of Kalispell, said Weldele violated a protection order and stole a saw on May 8, stole a phone and drank beer at a Lakeside bar on May 21 and used meth, according to a court document.

Jay Lee Keenan, 33, of Arlee, was sentenced to five years in DOC with all time suspended for criminal endangerment related to a Feb. 5 traffic stop that involved another adult and children ages 3 and 4. A charge of criminal endangerment and fourth or subsequent DUI were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Keenan was required to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet for one year, continue outpatient mental health care and participate in chemical dependency treatment. He was ordered to pay $210 in fines and fees.

Clarence Martin Lafley, 52, of Arlee, was given five years in DOC with no time suspended for his fifth DUI. Lafley had a .119 blood alcohol content after a Feb. 26 traffic stop, according to a court document. He was ordered to pay $1,260 in fines and fees.
