Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases from June 16-29:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: David Dwayne Neal, 37, fined $20; Louis Carmichael III, 44, fined $20; Laurie Lee Caldr, 25, fined $20; Arthur George Picou, 38, fined $105; Sarah Grace Newell, 17, fined $20; Tyler David Bier, 17, fined $105; Mark E. Johnson, 45, fined $20; Jenny Davis Murney, 60, fined $65; Isaac Dalton Hoch, 21, fined $70.

Andrew James McCaughin, 31, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Shannon Rea Sabers, 39, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of partner family member assault causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury in partner/family member. She was found guilty and fined $1000 with $900 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentence to 365 days in jai with 364 days suspended.

Gene Lee Dally, 47, pleaded guilty to the charge of basic rule, reasonable and prudent, first offense. He was fined $85. Dally also pleaded guilty to failing to notify owner after accident resulting in damage to property/fixture along Highway, first offense. He was fined $200 and charged $35 in court costs.

Kevin Daniel Grosswiler, 23, pleaded guilty to ROW violation, failing to yield when entering Highway from private road or driveway. He was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Nadia Estefany, 25, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty and fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. She may do SLD. Estenfany also pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs.

Matthew Aaron Barry, 33, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

Tyler Nathaniel Crockett, 31, forfeited a $125 bond for exceeding 34,000 pound tandem axle weight limit.

Terry A. Smith, 67, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for driving on closed road/trail or state land.

Esperanza E. Orozco, 18, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. She was fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.

Nichola Rae Teigen, 38, was found guilty of the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. She was fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Tyler Russell Noland, 39, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was fined $200 and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

Kobe Schamp, 18, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for failing to reduce speed by 20 mph below posted limit driving next to emergency/police vehicle.

Dave Edward Bick, 43, forfeited a $175 fine and $35 in court costs for exceeding 34,000 pound tandem axle weight limit.
