RONAN — From the curb, the Mill in Ronan looks like a variety store rather than just a flower shop. A venture inside confirms it. Flowers, a coffee bar with comfortable chairs to sit on and a variety of handmade gifts fill the store.

Owner Stacy Ingram purchased the Mill about two years after moving back to the area to be near her family. She bought the bought the Main Street shop and a home just a mile or two outside of Ronan.

The Mill offers a variety of handmade inventory such as pottery, furniture, jewelry and glassware from vendors throughout the Mission Valley. “Vendors in the valley needed a platform,” Ingram said, “and I needed the inventory. It’s been great.” The Mill also stocks Montana-made items from Libby, Dillon, Virginia City, and other places throughout the state. Ingram’s slogan is, “If not local, then made in Montana.”

Right after she purchased the Mill, Covid made its debut and business declined that first year, compared to the prior two years’ records. But business is picking up and this year has been “much more kind,” Ingram noted. She plans to host a Christmas open house later this year.

The Mill still offers flowers for all special occasions, including weddings and other large events and they deliver.

Visit the store at 106 Main Street, check out her website at: https://www.ronanflowermill.com or call 406-676-5323 for more information.
