Justice of the Peace Joey Jayne dealt with the following cases April 11-17:
Randi James, 24, pleaded guilty to failing to obey red (stop) traffic signal. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. James also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle – owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended.
Allan Shank, 32, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect – first offense. He was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended. He also pleaded guilty of careless driving and fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
Jennifer Sather, 26, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended.
Matthew Porrovecchio, 37, pleaded guilty to following too closely- reasonable and prudent. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
Ashley Thompson, 18, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. She was fined $50 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.
Kenneth Daniels, 72, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended. He will file medical hardship document and court will reconsider house arrest for jail time. Daniels also pleaded guilty to ROW violation-fail/yield to approaching traffic (immediate hazard) when making left turn. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
Tonja Lee Wells, 44, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle-owner or operator, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended.
Sandra K. Cox, 54, forfeited a $60 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding-exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Thomas Donald Edwards, 42, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
The following forfeited a $20 bond for speeding on non-interstate-exceeding day limit of 70 mph: Franz Joseph Fontenot, 55; Shanelle Nicole King, 23; Travis Braxton Felts, 20; and Whitley Raquel Adams.
The following forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation: Brandon Robert Hakes, 26; Gabriel Ouellette, 32; Levi Clatterbuck, 32; Caren Herring, 54; Brittany Chaffins, 24; and Raymond Lance, 41. The following forfeited a $40 bond for speeding: Cornelia Graves, 36; Jonathan Sepp, 27; and Josh Matlock, 17. Scott Lewis Grazier forfeited a $30 fine and $35 in court costs for speeding-exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit.
Jeannine Thibobeau Helms, 66, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol-first offense. She was fined $400 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended.
