We recently had 12 of our M1 GARAND rifles replaced by the Department of Defense and the Army Donations Program for our Mission Valley Honor Guard.
Because of added rules, regulations and security since the 9-11 disaster, shipping and receiving rifles through the mail is very complex.
The American Legion Post 106 of St. Ignatius is very fortunate to have friends and vendors who step up and assist. A special thank you to Tim Orr for your help, American Legion Post 106, Rob Shrider and staff from Ronan Sports and Western for shipping our old rifles back to the Department of the Army.
Rob saved the post and honor guard hundreds of dollars. Because of this savings we are able to continue to support our veterans, the highway white cross programs, Boys State, summer recreational baseball and Little Guy Wrestling to name a few.
