I am writing this letter in support of Eldena Bear Don’t Walk, candidate for District 93. I have known this young lady her entire life, and I know how hard working, dependable and caring she is. She also supports the community and has always been there to support tribal people during cultural events, especially wakes. She has worked very hard at attaining a good education to better help people, all people. She will stand up for the people.
She is a single mom and has raised her daughter, Rose, to work hard and help others. She is a Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribal descendent, coming from the Whitworth- Mitchell families. She is enrolled in the Crow Tribe, where her father is from. Eldena was raised mostly here on the Flathead Reservation and in Missoula. She became a lawyer and is now working in Polson.
I know Eldena will do her very best, and I think she is the best person to represent District 93, thank you. And get out there and vote because your vote matters.
