Editor,
Greetings, fellow addicts and alcoholics in recovery. My name is Jon Denton. I am writing this letter to see what kind of response I will get in regards to starting a recovery/re-entry support group. A group for humans like myself who have made poor decisions in our past but have reconstructed our cognitive principles and are committed to fighting for our lives and the lives of our children and our community as a whole against addiction, alcoholism, depression, anxiety or the everyday hardships of re-entering society, that unlike ourselves, hasn't changed.
So if you have been recently released from prison, jail, treatment or have been in recovery but struggle day to day and want to stay clean and sober, want to surround yourself with other positive people in recovery and want to stay focused and passionate, and can’t seem to find a place where you fit in, then let’s get together and make a place for all of us to help each other in this battle. No matter what gender you are, what color you are, what religion you are, or what institution you've been released from, if you want to make better decisions and live the rest of your life drug and alcohol free, don't just talk about it, or dream about it, make it happen. You’re worth it. Your recovery is worth it. Your community is worth it. Give me a call at (406) 212-4030 or email me at jondenton98@yahoo and let’s start building together. Thank you.
Jon Denton
