Editor,
I am still in disbelief that someone would even consider taking my memory cards from my camera bag at the Harvest Festival in Ronan at K. William Harvey Elementary. It was a kids’ event, and while I was taking pictures of my kids, someone helped themselves to my used memory cards in the front pocket of my camera bag. I admit it was a bad idea to walk away from it while it was on the bleachers with our coats ... but I was hoping everyone was there for the same reason I was: for the kids. It was super crowded, and I should have been more paranoid about my valuables. Now someone out there has the most valuable thing to me besides the lives of my kids: pictures of my kids. I beg whoever has them to just anonymously leave them in the office at K. William Harvey Elementary where they could be returned to me; hopefully they still have the images that I took on them. I thought maybe I could have taken them out and didn’t remember doing so, so I have spent every day since Oct. 25 looking for them. The next morning, I looked at the school in and under the bleachers where we had our stuff, searched my truck and every other possible place I can think of. I’m sure they were in that bag.
