I would like to thank you personally for the articles that are written about my son Donovan McDonald. You do a great job of keeping all of the area high school accomplishments recognized on a weekly basis. My family and I greatly look forward to reading about his accomplishments and being able to share the articles with our family members that live off-reservation.
I especially think that it will help get him recognized by coaches for collegiate programs. It is such a shame that his own tribal paper doesn’t do anything for Donovan or the Native kids of the Flathead Reservation that are doing a good job of promoting healthy living, leadership, hard work, and the list goes on. So, thank you for that.
We are so proud of him and how he has grown into a tremendous athlete and competitor. He has a good soul and a deep sense of self and self. He shares it all with the younger children that look up to him.
He has so much ability, and we hope that seeing him in the Journal will open up doors for his future. You just never know who will pick up a copy. I think it also helps show younger students that they too, can achieve whatever they set their hearts and minds to.
I am sure he will keep your pages filled until he graduates from Arlee High School. And we are hoping for a future Griz.
