As a vendor at the Polson Farmer’s Market I was very moved by the letter Maureen Theiler sent in the other week. She is a great example of the support the community has given to the market.
I would just like to take a moment to thank all those who have made the market such a success....the business owners, who gave up their parking and advertised for us, city employees, who directed the traffic and hung out the “market” signs, vendors, the regulars and not-so-regulars, and shoppers, regulars and tourists. Thank you all. It has been such a pleasure to be a part of the festivities every week...even in the rain. These Friday mornings, with our friendly chats and recipe swapping, have been such a great motivation to forge ahead and continue on this crazy path of being a farmer.
And so I will end following Maureen’s lead...Eat more kale. Try that lemon cucumber. Gooo garlic. See you all Friday.
