State A golf tournament a success

On October 2, 3 and 4 the 2013 State A Golf Tournament was held at Polson Bay Golf Course. The City of Polson and Polson Bay Golf Course welcomed 129 participants along with friends, families, and coaches. Twenty-one schools from all around the state of Montana made the trip to our wonderful city and great golf course to compete for state titles.
An event of this magnitude is impossible to pull off without the specific help of many volunteers. Polson Bay Golf Course and I, the PGA head golf professional, would like to thank all the volunteers who donated their time to make hosting the 2013 State A tournament possible.
The best part of the weekend for volunteers and staff was watching our hometown Polson Pirate girls golf team complete the three peat by winning the girls state championship on their home golf course.
