Right now, the focus of this campaign has been on the Water Compact. This is an important issue and one that Dan has been a leader in negotiating. We should applaud his efforts; it is a thankless job working for the State Reserved Water Rights Compact Commission. No matter how the negotiated settlement turns out, member of our community will be unhappy. But I think there are several other issue that are also important that Dan has worked on as your Representative in Helena.
Dan has been an advocate for small businesses and has received endorsements from the Montana Chamber of Commerce, has received high ratings from the United Property Owners of Montana, a property rights group. Dan has fought hard in Helena to protect property rights. Dan has worked diligently to enhance education for our children and grandchildren, Medicaid reform, workmen’s comp reform, and was selected vice chair of the House Business and Labor Committee.
My friend Dan has been a lifelong resident of the Mission Valley. He wants to protect the resources we have and not let our area become another Klamath, Oreg. Please join me in supporting Dan Salomon for another tem for House District 93.
