Community invited to ‘Island Celebration’
RONAN – An Island Valentine’s celebration and dinner, featuring island dancing, will be presented by DTS students from the Fiji islands Sunday, Feb. 8, from 5-7 p.m. Festivities take place at the Ronan Senior Center, 528 Main Street SW. All invited to ‘Spiritual Practices’ course
RONAN – Pastor Seth Nelson will be leading a course entitled “Spiritual Practices in the Church and in the World” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10 and 17. The course will focus on spiritual disciplines that many find helpful in their faith journeys including disciplines like devotional Bible reading, recitation of the Jesus Prayer, how to make and use prayer beads, and more. All are welcome to join us in the basement of Faith Lutheran Church in Ronan as we explore different spiritual practices together.

PAT celebrates Valentine’s Day
RONAN — The Lake County Health Department is sponsoring a Parents as Teachers Group Connection in Ronan at the MSU Lake County Extension office, 300 Third Street NW, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 10-11:30 a.m.

Hunter education classes to begin
RONAN — Hunter Education Classes will be held at Westland Seed in Ronan from 4-6 p.m. on Feb. 18, 19, 20, and 23. The field course is held Saturday, Feb. 21. An additional class will be held for the area in March.
All hunter education classes are free of charge. By state law, anyone born after Jan. 1, 1985, must have completed the Hunter Education Course to buy a hunting license in Montana. To attend class and become certified, students must be at least 11 years old.
All students must register online at fwp.mt.gov, click “education,” for courses. When registering, students will note specific information and guidelines for the course included in the online posting.
