Join all-class reunion discussion for RHS
RONAN — There will be an organizational meeting for a possible Ronan High School all-class reunion on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library. The reunion would be held in conjunction with Ronan’s 100th graduating class this spring.
New choir meets Wednesdays
RONAN — The Mission Valley Children’s Choir, directed by Cathy Gillhouse and Pastor Seth Nelson, meets from 4-5 p.m. every Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church, 406 Fifth Ave. SW.
The choir is learning show tunes, patriotic songs, multi-cultural songs, spirituals and American folk songs. All Mission Valley children in grades 3-7 are invited to participate. Call 406-207-3036 or email at gill4748@hotmail.com, for more information.

Help RHS at Take the Wheel benefit
RONAN — Don Aadsen Ford is holding a test drive event to benefit Ronan High School on Oct. 2. For every test drive taken, Don Aadsen Ford will donate $20 to the local high school of your choice, up to $6,000. RHS is hoping to raise the full amount. This event takes place from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Oct. 2.

Flu vaccines given
RONAN — Lake County Public Health will be giving flu vaccinations at the Ronan Senior Center from 1-2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. The cost is $30. Seniors are asked to please bring their Medicare/‘Part B’ coverage cards.
Tuesday, October 6
Horsemen to hold membership drive
RONAN — On Tuesday, Oct. 6, Mission Valley Back Country Horsemen will hold their October general meeting and annual membership drive at the VFW Hall in Ronan. A potluck begins at 6 p.m. followed by a presentation on backcountry first aid by Dr. Righetti, a physician and an avid outdoorsman.
Part of our mission is to perpetuate the common sense use and enjoyment of horses in Montana’s roadless backcountry.
Quilters discuss by-laws, 2017 theme
RONAN — The Mission Mountain Quilt Guild will have its regular meeting on Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. at the Terrace Lake Community Church. Everyone is welcome.
We will go over the Guild’s by-laws to make changes and discuss the theme for the 2017 Quilt Show. So please be thinking of ideas to share with the guild. Ayleen’s Thursday Quilters will provide refreshments. Be sure and bring your show and tell items.
