Learn to knit at Polson library through Oct. 30
POLSON — For four Tuesdays in October (9, 16, 23, and 30), North Lake County Public Library is offering four learn-to-knit sessions at 2 p.m. in the library atrium. Library volunteer and “Knitter-Extraordinaire,” Linda Kittle will be available to guide you and answer questions in the process as new knitters learn the beginning steps of casting on, garter and purl stitch, increasing and decreasing and binding off. Needles and yarn for practice will be available. The teapot will be on. Guys and gals, young and old, you can do this.
