Waterfowl Wednesdays’ through Oct. 30
SOMERS — Join Jake Bramante from the Flathead Audubon Society for “Waterfowl Wednesdays” from 4-5:30 p.m. through the month of October. You will learn how to identify various waterfowl in our area. The group will meet at the Park and Ride at the corner of U.S. Highway 93 and U.S. Highway 82 every Wednesday from 4-5:30 p.m. through the month of October (weather permitting). The Park and Ride is located right next to the split pond near Somers and allows for easy watching of waterfowl. Bring your binoculars and/or a spotting scope if you have one. Farm Agency to discuss multiple programs
RONAN — USDA Farm Service Agency and Montana State University are hosting a Farm Bill meeting on Oct. 23 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lake County Community Development Corporation conference room, 407 Main Street SW. The meeting is free and open to the public. Meeting attendees will learn about FSA’s Agricultural Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs.
