Join ‘Moving for Better Balance’
POLSON — Moving for Better Balance, an evidence-based, adapted Tai Chi class, will be offered by the Area VI Agency on Aging on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-11 a.m. for 12 weeks, May 1-July 19. Art Gallery opens new exhibit through June 15
POLSON — Sandpiper Art Gallery, 306 Main Street, Polson, presents until June 15, “Living in the Moment.” This exhibit will be everything we love about Montana and will feature member artists Kathy Calkins (acrylic painter), Marla Hall (photography), Mary K. Basketball Camp held in Ronan
RONAN — Warwick Workout Advanced Offensive Basketball Skills Girls Camp is designed for players at Ronan School District who are looking to enhance and expand their skill set. Workout trainers will work with players to excel at their respective positions through progression based teaching and repetition. Seniors Olympics on tap
MISSION VALLEY — The 33nd Annual Montana Senior Olympic Games will be held in the Pablo, Polson, Ronan areas on June 14-16, 2018. This involves competition in 14 different sports for men and women who are 50 years of age and older. The sports include: archery, bowling, badminton, cycling, basketball, golf, horseshoes, pickle ball, race-walk, tennis, table tennis, road race, swimming and track & field. Join Polson Community Dance
POLSON — Join us for a night of dancing on Wednesday, June 20, from 7-10 p.m. at the Elks in Polson, on Main Street. Enjoy dancing to the band of Ken’s Combo, playing country classic, music from the '50s, '60s and '70s, and soft rock. There is a little bit of everything: waltz, one-step, two-step, cha-cha, or whatever you would like to do. This is a community dance and everyone is welcome. You do not have to be an Elk member to attend. Dress is casual. We would love to see some young dancers come and have some fun with us too. If you don’t know how to dance there are enough of us that can help you learn. It really is fun. The third Wednesday of each month is our Birthday dance where we have cake to celebrate everyone’s birthday in that month. Cover charge is $5 per person. Drinks, and soft drinks are available for purchase at the bar and water and coffee are free. We break for free snacks from 8:30-9 p.m.
