ST. IGNATIUS — Orders for the Mission Chamber of Commerce birthday calendars will be taken between now and the deadline of Sept. 20. There will be a table at Rod’s Harvest Foods from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Aug. 3, Aug. 21, Aug. 24 and Sept. 4. If you are unable to order at those times, contact LaVonne Olmsted at 406-745-3423. Pioneer Days begins in Ronan
RONAN –– Pioneer Days celebration begins in Ronan on July 31 and will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 31-Aug. 2 Ronan Pioneer Days is a community event with fun for the whole family. Pancakes, worship planned at park

People’s Center honors huckleberries

Summerfest begins in Polson

Skate Jam held at Polson skatepark
POLSON — Polson’s local skaters invite all ages to the annual Skate Jam gathering at the Polson Skatepark on Saturday, Aug. 8, with free skating beginning at noon. Activities will include skills competitions, games of S.K.A.T.E., prizes and snacks.

POLSON — The Wednesday, Aug. 12, dance will honor Don Pederson from Round Butte. It is waltz night, and he was the king of that dance. Don died a year or so ago, and he is missed.
