COLUMBUS — Louise M. Grund, 102, a well-known resident at Beartooth Manor in Columbus, Mont., passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2010. Louise was born on Aug. 20, 1907 in Butte, Mont. to Charles and Victoria Grund. She graduated from Butte Central High and Butte Business College. She was employed at Metals Bank in Butte, before moving to Ronan in 1944. She was employed at the former Hurts Drug Store and Consolidated Dairies in Ronan. She was an active member of the Sacred Heart Alter Society and held an office in the Democratic Women’s Club of Lake County.
