BILLINGS — Georgiana Faust died peacefully at her home in Billings on May 9. She was born in Polson in 1933, the first daughter of N.B. Slim and Ruth McAlear Coppedge. All her grandparents were Flathead Reservation homesteaders. She started first grade in Stevensville, attending the rest of the grades in Polson, graduating in 1951, awarded the Good Citizenship Medal. She taught swimming at the golf course beach and worked for her dad in his insurance office; in exchange, he financed her college education.
