Antione convicted, to pay restitution

A Ronan man was ordered to pay restitution of $67,007.62 to the victim of a stabbing in Ronan last December. The order was handed down in Polson District Court on July 22.  William Antione Jr., 31, was given the restitution order as part of a plea agreement, which was reached on June 3. The agreement resulted in an assault with a weapon conviction against Antione.  According to court records, on Dec. 22, 2019, Ronan Police Officer Brandon Smith was called to investigate a possible stabbing at an apartment complex.
